It's Tuesday, and upon the reflection of last night and all that Mary and Eddie had to say, I'm reflecting about a lot of things. I think about Mike and Michele, the life that they have already lived...I think about a friend of ours going through some serious court days.....I think about how Eddie's and Mary's life is affecting many others, and how God has called them to their ministry.Pastor Roger used to say, and probably still does, "A great meditation" when referring to something that we should be dwelling on. How about the fact that, even though our lives seem to be useless sometimes, and we don't think that we've arrived at all, God still uses us! What a wonderful meditation!
Imagine, that you're putting together a Pro Football team. You have all the money and backing. You have all the coaching staff you'll ever need. You even have the stadium, with concession stands and the Garlic curly fries. The last thing you need is to pick the players. Would you pick you?! God does! Look at the disciples. Next time you're at MEW, take a look around and just try to find someone the Lord doesn't want on His Team....you won't find them....meditate on that....
