Stand By Me

Those in difficult times surely know how critical it is for someone to be by your side. Every time I hear that old song 'Stand By Me' by Ben E. King, I think of how the Lord is always by my side. Through hard times and good times alike, the Lord is always there. Recently, an old friend of mine sent me a video of performers from around the world singing 'Stand By Me', only, they never got the chance to see each other...they only sang together. It's kind of like the church body. Imagine how it will sound when one day we'll be together, all in the same place, with others from throughout time, singing and praising God. Are you down today?
